FRPO held its 12th Annual MAC Awards Gala on November 29th. The theme focused on the environment and "The Green Scene". In honour of this event, FRPO donated 800 trees to be planted, one for each attendee. These trees will be planted in ecological important areas around the province.
FRPO's 2012 Spring Golf Classic was held on May 30th at Angus Glen Golf Club. The event raised almost $45,000 for Interval House through donations, auction and raffle items. FRPO is proud to support Interval House.
The 2011 FRPO Golf Classic raised an outstanding $30,000 for Interval House this year. Members supported this cause through our auction, raffle as well as donations. FRPO is proud to partner with Interval House for this event.
The 2011 Spring HOPE Food Drive had yet another successful year. Collections took place throughout Ontario and we are happy to report that nearly 500,000 pounds of food was collected for local food banks. This event is held annually across the province and continues to help those in need.
FRPO held the 2010 edition of the Spring Golf Classic on June 1st at Angus Glen Golf Club. The event raised $15,000 for Interval House and another $11,000 through the silent auction. We are happy to support this worthy cause and look forward to next year's event.
FRPO'S 2009 Golf Tournament raised $25,000 in support of Interval House. Interval House provides a continuum of services that enable abused women and children to have access to safe shelter while providing them with life skills and job training to succeed on their own.
In November 2009, FRPO’s Certified Rental Building program was awarded the Ethical, Technical and Professional Standards Award by the Canadian Society of Association Executives in recognition of FRPO’s outstanding success in raising the standards of our industry through the CRB program.
FRPO helped members collect over 500,000 lbs of food province-wide for the 2009 Spring Hope Food Drive. This event is held annually in April and is the largest food drive in Ontario.
